Our animals at the Danube stations
With amazement we notice again and again how many different animals have chosen our Danube stations as the "center of life". This is how we perceive beavers all the time. The fish have long since taken up the shady shelters under the Danube stations as the ideal place to be. For several years we have even had a Mink (a type of mink) who confidently inhabits a Danube station in Krems. Rare praying mantises also appreciate the sunny spots there. We also used “biological mowers” in Hainburg for the first time this year (sheep) to reduce the overgrowth of the shops. We respect all these animals and are happy about their acceptance by our Danube stations.
